Support to the GWS with a motorbike

GWT Doctor on Motorbike
Dr Rajen Rai using one of the newly bought motorbikes

Gurkha Brigade Association (GBA) members have supported the Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) since its inception.  One recent example is highlighted below.

John Robins said; “Having had the privilege of serving in 2/10 Gurkha Rifles for my National Service, I have long supported the excellent work of The Gurkha Welfare Trust.  In a recent newsletter, I read how motorbikes are cutting down the time it takes for the Trust’s doctors to visit their patients.  Trips that would have taken three to four days are now taking only a day.  The Trust needs an additional six motorbikes and I am pleased to sponsor one of those.

This is a real example of how a relatively modest gift can have a really significant impact, helping hundreds and hundreds of people in Nepal.”
