The Brigade of Gurkhas takes one Intake a year; through 11 months of training and shared experiences together, each intake becomes very close. Intakes are known to each other as ‘numberis’ because of their sequential Army numbers, and work hard to maintain their bond throughout their Army careers, and beyond.
