11 (Royal School of Signals) Signal Regiment hosted a multi-cultural evening on 1st September 2021 in which everyone shared their own cultural backgrounds with each other.
Food, dance, historical traditions, clothing and cultural norms: the evening was a great bonding experience and one that everyone will remember for a long time. It was co-ordinated by Staff Sergeant Chandra Kumar Rai, the event saw a taste of multiple cultures and some form of social normality after nearly two years.
Our rich Nepali culture was represented by Corporal Sanam using with Chandi dance, Khukuri dance, and Taekwando, and Corporal Milan displaying with Nepali house, shop, museum, photo booth, and the famous doko race.
All excellently supported by Recruit Intake 20 of Queen’s Gurkha Signals.
