The event was bought together to generate support and raise funds for the Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) and Unit Welfare MRTC. The event gave a rare opportunity for others outside of the Brigade of Gurkhas to experience carrying a Doko on a run, and for the team to talk and share knowledge of Gurkha and Nepalese culture and history.
