10th August 2020

A thank you from 1 RGR

The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles bid a final farewell to their outgoing Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Conroy, and his good lady on Friday 7th August 2020.

The traditional tow out of camp was planned and delivered differently than on previous occasions due to COVID-19 restrictions. All phases were risk assessed prior to conduct and social distancing guidelines were thoroughly practised at all times.

A hundred thank you letters were written by the Junior Non-Commissioned Officers showing the respect they had for their outgoing leader and Commanding Officer.
