The Gurkha Museum in Winchester is running a special summer exhibition for 2019 – Between Two Worlds. Focusing on the activities of the Gurkhas between World War One and World War Two. Open until 31st August 2019.
We visited the museum this week to find out more about this interesting part of Gurkha history.
The Exhibition displays items and photographs from the museum’s extensive collections, focusing on the period between 1918 and 1939, an often overlooked era in which Gurkha regiments faced continual conflict and adapted to a changing and modernising world.
