Brigade of Gurkhas Annual Golf Championship 2021

The Brigade of Gurkhas Annual Golf Championship was held on Wednesday 30th of June 2021 in Tidworth Garrison Golf Club in Wiltshire played between 14 teams from Brigade of Gurkhas Units. The event was conducted in line with current government guidelines and with formal risk assessment of the Golf Club.

Overall Unit Champion:

  • Champion team of the Year 2021 – Gurkha Company (Sittang)
  • Runners up – The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles
  • Third place – Queen’s Gurkha Signals (QG SIGNALS)

Individual Top 5 of the Brigade of Gurkhas:

  • First – Staff Sergeant Somras Tamang – Gurkha Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Support Battalion
  • Second Runners up – Captain Ashok Gurung – Gurkha Company Catterick
  • Third place – Captain Sanjeev Rai – Queens Gurkha Signals
  • Fourth place – Staff Sergeant Gajendra Gurung – Gurkha Company (Sittang)
  • Fifth place – Warrant Officer Class Two Sunil Gurung-The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles
