The Brigade of Gurkhas Drill Instructors course recently took place at Sir John Moore Barracks, Shorncliffe, Kent.
The course is a crucial part of producing Gurkhas who are then qualified to train others in various drill movements for parades and similar events. The course concluded with a pass-off parade on 6th August conducted in the barracks with social distancing applied to maintain safety for all.
The course hosted Gurkhas from across the Brigade with 30 students completing the three-week course. They are now qualified to teach light drill to Officers and Soldiers in their own units and as recruit instructors at Gurkha Company, Catterick.
Well done to all.
