Cadre at the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment

The 10 Queen's Own Gurkha Logisitic Regiment Training Wing has recently delivered a three-week long Royal Logistic Corps Potential NCO Cadre.

The Cadre is a promotion course where all newly promoted Lance Corporals of the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) and Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment (QOGLR) were assessed on their Command, Leadership, Management and Military skills.

A total of 26 personnel started this three-week long arduous and challenging cadre and only 18 of them were successful. 

The Cadre was commanded by Lieutenant Benjamin Ryde and administered by Platoon Sergeant Shyam Sendang.  All students were directed by 10 QOGLR’s highly skilled and experienced Section Commanders:

  • Corporal Netra Gurung
  • Corporal Kul Gurung
  • Acting Corporal Sachin Rai
  • Acting Corporal Amir Chamli

Acting Lance Corporal Ghanendra Rai (28 Squadron) was awarded the top student award.  The Commander QOGLR extends his congratulations and good wishes to all successful students for their bright futures ahead.
