Lance Corporal Pradip Limbu and Private Dipesh Deuja from the Infantry Battle School deployed to support the 14th Signal Regiment on exercise from 28th Feb – 4th March.
The training was taking place at the Sennybridge Training Area to ensure that all the members of the Regiment are at the minimum standard and be fully utilised by receiving Squadron on UK based or overseas deployments and meet the baseline standard to deploy on Operation CABRIT Operation NEWCOMBE and any other Operation the unit might be called upon to support.
The main aim of the Infantry Battle School team was to deliver the catering support and make it effortless, feeding up to 40-60 soldiers for a week. Within the training, Private Dipesh had an excellent opportunity to improve his skills and knowledge, whilst it was his first time delivering his skills in the field kitchen after his basic training. He was content that he had gained more knowledge for the trade and his NVQ apprenticeship from the training. His mentor, Lance Corporal Pradip supported the training and mentoring assisting Private Dipesh in securing this NVQ qualification.
