British Forces Brunei celebrated the festival of colour, ‘Holi’, at the Temple in Tuker Lines. The Regimental Pundit Mr Bhishma Raj Niraula, conducted the event.

Personnel from The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles have deployed on Exercise OLGETA WARRIOR 22 (Ex OW22) to Papua New Guinea to conduct partnered training alongside the Australian Defence Force to the Papua New Guinea Defence Force. Mortar Platoon from Support (Medicina) Company of The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles conducted an Urban live firing shoot from Cellini Village, Sennybridge, Brecon, building the soldiers’ confidence to adapt quickly in the future urban environment. The soldiers also experienced test the Raschen Bag system, which will provide the mortar detachment with a readily available means of base plate preparation that will permit prolonged firing with high charges off almost all difficult surfaces. The Army's priority is to be ready to war fight when the nation and its allies are threatened.

The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles Junior Leadership Cadre for intake 19 have taken to the Jungle in Brunei. Over the last few weeks, students have been put through their paces delivering battle exercises and challenging navigation assessments. During the eight-week course, students will spend prolonged periods in the jungles of Brunei, developing the skills and leadership qualities they will need as they progress further in their careers in the British Army.
