Colonel Paul Smith (Defence Attaché/Commander British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN) / Director Gurkha Welfare Trust (Nepal), Major Kamal Gurung (Assistant Military Attaché) and Captain Chandra Limbu (Staff Officer Level Three) were awarded the Chief Of the Army Staff (COAS) Nepali Army Commendations by General Prabhu Ram Sharma on the occasion of Mahashivaratri and 260th Raising Day of the Nepali Army on the 18th of February 2023.
They were awarded the COAS Commendations in appreciation for their remarkable support to Nepali Army through numerous programs and diplomatic representation, which enhanced the bilateral relationships between the Nepali Army and the British Army.
