On 1st February 2020, Sergeant Sagar Sherchan (SSA Blandford Garrison) was awarded the 11 Signal Regiment Commanding Officer’s Coin for his outstanding service to the Gurkha Community in Blandford.
The coin carries a special meaning as it was received from the Commanding Officer of an external unit (outside of own chain of command).
The Colonel of the Regiment, Officer Commanding and all members of the Gurkha Staff and Personnel Support Pariwar congratulate Sagar on a truly deserving achievement and more importantly for being an exemplar of self-less commitment and excellence.
