On the 6th April 2020, Commander Sandhurst Support Unit (SSU), Lieutenant Colonel C Boryer MBE RGR presented Commanding Officer's commendations and coins to Gurkha Company Sittang personnel.

The commendations and coins were presented to:

Rifleman Bhagat Gurung
Rifleman Bijay Thap

For their outstanding contribution to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Members of C (TAMANDU) Company, The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles recently deployed on Exercise TAMANDU WARRIOR in the Cinque Ports Training Area in Kent, UK. It was the Company’s first exercise since returning to the UK from Brunei after an extended assignment and tested basic fieldcraft skills at section and platoon level.

On the 31st of August 2022, the 218 trainees of Re

On the 31st of August 2022, the 218 trainees of Recruit Intake 22 were presented with their cap badges as they have been assigned to the various cap badge organisations of the Brigade of Gurkhas. All the trainees achieved assignment to one of their top three choices, having been asked a few weeks back which part of the Brigade they would prefer to join. This year 69.72% of the trainees got their first-choice assignment.
