On the 22nd November 2022 the Defence Hindu Network (DHN) celebrated Diwali at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Diwali is the festival of light and major event in the Hindu calendar. It is a time of celebration and renewal for all Hindu families.
The aim of the DHN event was to provide an opportunity for serving personnel of Hindu faith to celebrate Diwali and to demonstrate the importance of Diwali to a wider Defence audience.
It also provided an opportunity for the DHN to thank its civilian and military supporters for committing and celebrating diversity within the workforce.
