Falklands memorial service takes place

A memorial service and unveiling of the Mani Wall to honour 7th Gurkha Rifles part in the Falklands War in 1982 took place this week on Stanley Road on the Falkland Islands. The stones have been brought from Nepal.
At the same time a memorial service took place for the late Corporal Krishna Kumar Rai.
Present were the Colonel Brigade of Gurkhas, a number of veterans and the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas.
