The Gurkha Staff and Personnel Support (GSPS) team from the First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (1RGR) won this year’s Adjutant General’s Corps (AGC) Triple Crown Challenge March and Shoot Competition, the star event, by a country mile.
This is a significant achievement, for not only is it the third consecutive win for the team from 1 RGR GSPS but also a historic success on the special year marking the 30th Anniversary of the AGC.
Additionally, the team from 36 Engr Regt, Queen’s Gurkha Engineers, led by GSPS members won the Triple Crown Trophy combined GSPS/SPS male and female march and shoot and military skills overall team event.
The GSPS would like to thank all those that took part from across the Brigade of Gurkhas and the AGC. Many congratulations to the winning team from 1 RGR for the hat-trick of wins, leading by example from the front, but importantly with great humility every time. The team have made the GSPS Pariwar and the Brigade of Gurkhas very proud. Sustaining the moral and physical components of the fighting power at the highest level.
