On the 25th of February 2023, The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas started the day by entertaining the crowd at the start point of ‘Dharan Run’ at Bhanu Chowk, Nepal followed by a performance for the residents at Residential House, Area Welfare Centre Dharan. The day then concluded with a band display to commemorate the start of the Buddha Subba Gold Cup at Dharan Stadium.

It was incredible to see so many participants of all ages partaking at Dharan Run. It is 20 years since the Gurkha Band has performed in Dharan and the crowds were delirious with joy at the opportunity to see and hear our band once again. The appreciation that Dharaney people expressed to the Band was just amazing.
