Gurkha Company (Sittang) Virtual Holi celebration

Gurkha Company (Sittang) celebrated the Hindu festival of Holi on Sunday 28th March 2021.

All serving members and their families from the Brigade of Gurkhas currently serving at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst were invited to mark and celebrate this religious event together virtually. The Commanding Officer Sandhurst Support Unit Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Hull and her family also attended the event.

Many thanks to Warrant Officer Class Two Basantajung Company Sergeant Major GC(S) and Sergeant Tulasi who organised and delivered such a fantastic event.

The festival of colours is Holi, it is vibrant and filled with beautiful colours. Holi is considered as one of the major festivals. It is celebrated in the month of Phalgun on full moon day according to Hindu calendar.
