On the 24th October 2019 the Headquarters Brigade of Gurkhas Staff and invited guests came together for a late Dashain and early Tihar celebrations.
Due to work and key personnel commitments the Headquarters Brigade of Gurkhas had to delay their Dashain celebrations this year.
A fine Nepalese meal was laid on my chefs from Gurkha Company Sittang based at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and from the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment based in Aldershot.
The Deputy Chief of Staff also thanked the team for another great year and welcomed our friends and guests who have supported us over the last 12 months; including staff from our home at Robertson House and the Gurkha Museum.
We were also pleased that members of the Brigade Training Team who are actually based in Shorncliffe with 1 Royal Gurkha Rifles made the drive to Camberley to join us as they are part of the Headquarters and the team from the Gurkha Welfare Centre in Aldershot also joined us.
