Congratulations to members of The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (1 RGR) who ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 1st August 2021 to raise money for the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
Rifleman Ajaya Ale Magar, Rifleman Bikram Singh Ranamagar, Rifleman Tendi Sherpa and Lieutenant Dan Hamill; all from B (Sari Bair) Company, 1 RGR took to the streets of London in aid of the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
The Gurkha Welfare Trust is the leading Gurkha charity. They provide financial, medical and community aid to relieve poverty and distress among retired Gurkha soldiers, their families and their wider communities.
