Captain (Retired) Mahendra Kumar Limbu MBE has received his MBE at Buckingham Palace. He has served as Brigade Welfare Officer since 2007.
He is responsible for assisting in the coordination of benevolence and welfare for retired Gurkhas in the UK, working closely with Government departments, service charities, and other agencies, in order to support those in need.
He was awarded MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2019 in recognition of his outstanding achievements, selfless commitment and services to a substantial number of Gurkha veterans and their families for the last 12 years.
