The Nepal Cup Brigade of Gurkhas Football competition has taken place over the last two weeks across the country. The winners were the team from the Queen's Gurkha Signals who managed to beat the Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment.See the videos from all the matches on our Facebook page.
Much like the big Euro 2020 Semi-Finals this week, this match went to extra-time with the final score 3:2 and the Queen’s Gurkha Signals lifting the trophy.
The final was played at Sir John Moore Barracks, Shorncliffe, the home currently to The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles.
Other games across the tournament, which saw most of the Brigade took part except for The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles who are currently based in Brunei and travel restrictions meant they could not take part. The matches took place at various Gurkha unit locations across the UK.
