Lieutenant General Richard Wardlaw OBE, Colonel Commandant Brigade of Gurkhas, Colonel David Robinson, Colonel Brigade of Gurkhas and staff from the Headquarters Brigade of Gurkhas were invited by His Excellency Mr Gyan Chandra Acharya (Ambassador of Nepal to the UK) to celebrate the Nepali Army Day on the 23rd of February 2023.
The day is celebrated every year to recognise the important and sometimes difficult work the Nepali Army does in the Nepal and on operations with the United Nations. The event also offers the opportunity to recognise the close relationship between the British Army and Nepal.
