Newly trained Gurkhas start to arrive in their units

Arrival at their new homes

After 39-weeks of training our newly trained Gurkhas have arrived at their new units across the UK and in Brunei.

They arrived in February 2019 as fresh young men from Nepal and are now trained soldiers and ready to join their units for their trade training so they can take up their rightful positions in the Brigade of Gurkhas.

But now they are rightfully taking up their places across the Brigade if Gurkhas with the Royal Gurkha Rifles, Queen’s Gurkha Engineers, Queen’s Gurkha Signals’ Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment, Gurkha Staff and Personnel Support and the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas.
