The annual Gurkha Company (Sittang) orienteering competition, Exercise TALAS took place on the 13th January 2023 on the Barossa training area, Sandhurst, with an aim to achieve ITR, train and test individual fitness and orienteering skills.
Rifleman Dasharath Rai managed to secure first place, he said,” it was a great opportunity to test my ability for my upcoming Junior Leadership Cadre, and a great platform for a junior soldier like me to enhance military skills. Credit also should go to Sergeant Ranjib Limbu, who organised the competition.
