In Cyprus, the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus organizes regular military skills competition every year to ensure that peacekeepers remain agile, fit for purpose and ready to deploy at short notice.
Despite this year’s cold temperatures, our peacekeepers concluded the winter competition of 2022.
The Mission's Force Commander, Major General Ingrid Gjerde, awarded the Mobile Force Reserve team for winning this edition and congratulated their efforts and hard work.
