On 14th September 2019 the Queen’s Gurkha Signals celebrated its 70th Birthday in Bramcote.
The Colonel of the Regiment, Major General J J Cole OBE, took the salute at the birthday parade where a number of awards were presented. Serving, veterans, family and friends gathered for the event at this important milestone in the history of the Queen’s Gurkha Signals.

Marking the special occasion, 70th Birthday pipe banners were also presented to field squadrons. The parade was followed by a regimental lunch and hugely contested inter-unit sports competitions.

The Champion Squadron was 2019 – 249 Gurkha Signal Squadron, 3 (UK) Division Signal Regiment
It was an enormously proud day for the Regiment, which was witnessed by over 600, past and present, members of the Regiment and their families.
