On the 9th of September 2021, the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment hosted Commander 101 Logistic Brigade, Brigadier Patch Reehal MBE, his first visit to the Regiment as the new Brigade Commander.
The Brigadier was delighted with the day’s activities which included various stands such as the Regimental Inclusion Council, which the Brigadier implemented when he commanded the Regiment, the Custodian Account, Light Aid Detachment, a pistol shoot and more before being flown in a Puma Helicopter to Barton Stacey training area where 1 Squadron were on exercise giving him the opportunity to part of the Regiment in action.
The Brigadier also presented Brigade Commanders’ and Joint Helicopter Command commendations. We would also like to thank 28 Squadron, Royal Air Force Benson for providing the air lift to Barton Stacey.
