On Wednesday 11th November 2020, a team of 11 personnel, led by Sergeant Bhim Limbu, from Gurkha Company (Tavoleto) (GC(T)) successfully completed an 11km charity run in aid of the British Limbless Ex Service Men’s Association (Blesma).

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans, it provides support to limbless and injured veterans for life and is dedicated to assisting serving and ex-Service men and women who have suffered life-changing limb loss or the use of a limb, an eye or loss of sight in the honourable service of our country.

The event commenced with a short brief from Major Chandra Bahadur Pun (Officer Commanding GC(T)) and Lieutenant Colonel Tom Smith (Commanding Officer Special Weapons School GC(T)) who then started the race by lowering a flag at 0900hrs.

After the completion of the run at exactly 1100hrs, Gurkha Company (Tavoleto) and the Specialist Weapons School staff paid tribute to our fallen heroes by the act of laying a wreath and observed a two-minute remembrance silence.
