At British Gurkhas Pokhara, Regimental Association Nepal members, Gurkha Welfare Trust staff, and serving British Military personnel attended the ceremony while wreaths were laid by families of soldiers killed in action in Afghanistan at the British Gurkhas Pokhara memorial. The Service at British Gurkhas Dharan was addressed by Adjutant BGN Captain Nabin Rai.

The commemorations at all three places observed a two-minute silence in tribute to those who gave their lives in service and who remain in our memories, traditions and ethos.
