Taking advantage of being COVID-19 free, British Forces Brunei held Remembrance Commemorations at the Officers’ Mess, Kuala Belait, Brunei on 8th November 2020.
The event was attended by a number of diplomats from multiple nations. Wreaths were laid by the military and respective guests, and the Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Todd MBE, Commander British Forces Brunei and Commanding Officer of The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, thanking all attendees on this very important day.
The service was not only a memorial day to remember the fallen but also signified the strong bonds and commitment to regional security the UK has with Brunei and the rest of South East Asia.
