Soldiers around the British Army are having to adapt to new ways to maintain training, and The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles are no exception.

As part of the Air Maneouvre Battlegroup they have to be ready to deploy on a range of potential operations around the world so making sure they are trained and ready to do so is key.

But they are complying with the Government’s guidelines on social distancing and have changed and adapted their training, including utilising technology such as fitness Apps and video conferencing.

When they are called into camp or need to train in groups, the social distancing is maintained, again through adaption of physical training and day to day tasks.
