Short Term Training Team visits Oman

Members of The Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment have deployed to Oman along with some members of 36 Engineer Regiment as a Short Term Training Team.

The team moved to Muscat MAM Barracks, the Oman Army Base Ordnance Depot, which is equivalent to the UK Military’s Donnington and Bicester locations holding vast amounts of equipment and stores ready to be sent and deployed around the world in support of  military operations and exercises.

The Short Term Training Team’s main focus for this deployment will be to teach and show the Omani Army Logistic Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers best practice on warehouse management and stock maintenance.
