February 2019 has been a busy month for our Queen’s Gurkha Orderly Officers, Captain Kiran Pun and Captain Kamal Khapung, in their roles in supporting the various Investitures. This has included one at Buckingham Palace where The Queen was in residence to present a number of awards to high profile people on the 26th February 2019.
One recipient was the Army’s Chief of the General Staff General Sir Mark Carleton-Smith KCB CBE ADC Gen on 26th February 2019.
Another worthy recipient was the Cricketer Sir Alastair Nathan Cook.
