Private Indrakumar Limbu

14th June 1995

21168240 Pte Indrakumar Limbu QOGTR, a young and loyal soldier passed away on 14 June 1995 at Woolwich Military Hospital in the United Kingdom, as a result of severe head injuries sustained in a road traffic accident on 6 June 1995 on route  Packman in the Central Bosnia while on UN peace Keeping duties.
He was born on 15 May 1968 in Dhankuta District, Eastern Nepal. He joined the Brigade of Gurkhas on 15 May 1989 at Dharan, the last batch to join the Brigade from Dharan before it’s closure. He served in Hong Kong, Gulf, Brunei, Cyprus, UK and the former Republic of Yugoslavia. He is married with on children. His death has been a great loss to his Regiment and at this sad hour all the members of QOGTR extend their sympathy and condolences to his bereaved family and relatives.
