Unit Based Virtual Training week - ARRC Support Battalion

ARRC Support Battalions Unit Based Virtual Training week which saw members across the Battalion take part in various training tasks.

Captain Basanta (The Royal Gurkha Rifles) and Sergeant Ashish (Queen’s Gurkha Engineers) led on the delivery of this training which saw soldiers work up from section level tasks to Platoon/Troop level.

Rotations of command appointments allowed for Non-Commissioned Officers and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers to act as Section Commanders and Second in Charge through to Troop/Platoon Sergeant and Commander levels, testing their ability to quickly plan, brief and deliver a task. Leadership training in real time.

A thoroughly enjoyable and demanding week for all, implementing a new training platform that will be entwined within the Battalions training.
