Exercise DELHI WARRIOR 22 was held at Penanjong Camp, Brunei. This exercise was designed for Urban Warfare and led by Captain Govinda Gurung.
Although the jungle is the Company’s main focus, Exercise DELHI WARRIOR was run to build-up and enhance our skills in the urban environment. The challenges are complex and thus demand tough, well-trained, and motivated soldiers.
We also operated from the Puma helicopter, which has replaced the ageing Bell 212; a first in Brunei. Royal Brunei Armed Forces soldiers were attached to our Company and conducted the Air Assault exercise which has augmented our interoperability as per the intent of our Company Officer Commanding.
At the end of the exercise, we were able to fully understand the range of challenges in both day and night, surface and sub-surface and offensive and defensive urban operations.
