60th Anniversary Parade of The Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic

Gurkha Company (Sittang) support all the Officer Cadet training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and this includes a number of overseas military training exercises. They recently returned from the most recent exercise in Germany.

Exercise Dynamic Victory is the final exercise of the 44-week Regular Commissioning Course; it tests the cadets’ suitability to become Junior Officers in the British Army.

The exercise takes place in Bavaria, Germany, and brings together everything the cadets have learnt in one arduous exercise.

A new squadron of Gurkha soldiers has been welcomed to MOD Stafford with a Regimental Parade by 16th Signal Regiment.

247 Gurkha Signal Squadron will be the second squadron of Queen’s Gurkha Signals’ (QG SIGNALS) soldiers to be based at Beacon Barracks.  The other QG SIGNALS squadron is 248 Gurkha Signal Squadron which is part of 22nd Signal Regiment.

HRH Princess Royal attended the 60th Anniversary parade of The Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment at St Omer Barracks in Aldershot on 1st July 2018.

As Colonel in Chief, Her Royal Highness inspected the troops as part of the Regiment’s Kasam Khane parade.
