Gurkha ARRC Commando Speed march

Gurkha Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Support Battalion, meticulously organized a trip to Spean Bridge in Scotland for six members of the Battalion.

The purpose of this visit was to delve into the rich history of the Commandos and participate in the Commando Speed march. This challenging march spans a distance of 6.7 miles, replicating the original test route from Spean Bridge Train Station to the Achnacarry estate.

The participants are required to carry 36lbs of issued equipment, dressed in heavy woollen service attire, and wearing brogue shoes.
