Recruit Intake 25 Get To Grips With Living on Exercise. The initial weeks for our new Gurkha Trainees are challenging, as they must rapidly learn and adjust to numerous new concepts. In early March, the trainees were deployed to the field for Exercise ICEBREAKER. ⁠
This exercise serves as an introductory experience, allowing recruits to understand what it is like to spend a night in the wilderness. It also provides essential training on utilizing a British Army Operational Ration Pack and constructing basic shelters using the surrounding environment.⁠
