Eight soldiers from Queen’s Gurkhas Signals posted into 216 (Parachute) Signal Squadron deployed to Exercise MERCURY CANOPY in Belize from 18th January to 26th February 24.
The exercise focused on honing soldiers in jungle warfare. The training progressed from theory lessons to tactical exercises in the dense jungles laying a solid foundation for more advanced manoeuvres.
Later, the exercise transitioned into more complicated manoeuvres, including Live Fire Tactical Training.
