The Humberside Night Challenge represents a significant initiative in the domain of youth development and education, orchestrated by the Community Engagement section of the Humberside Police. This event, conducted annually in Hull, encompasses an overnight long-distance navigation exercise embellished with a variety of challenges aimed at the participants. The primary objectives of this endeavour was to foster teamwork, enhance communication skills, and cultivate leadership qualities among the youth.

On the 16th of March 2024, Peninsular Troop Platoon Sergent and Trainees from the 25 Regiment, under the leadership of Warrant Officer Volaman Limbu and Staff Sergeant Gopal Thapa, participated in the event, representing the Armed Forces. Their involvement not only reflects the Armed Forces’ support for community and youth-oriented initiatives but also highlights the importance of such collaborations in promoting essential life skills and values among young individuals.
