Corporal Sailesh Rai, (Mortar Platoon, The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles) led a group of 14 personnel on Exercise HIMALI ADVENTUERER, in Snowdonia, Wales.
This was organised in preparation for Expedition Wyvern Tian Shan, which will take place in Corsica.

The team stayed the Nuffield Centre Campsite in two men tents. All the equipment was on load from the British Army load pool for for overseas expeditions. The exercise allowed the team to focus and to test and adjust equipment, make the team familiar with the equipment and help prepare our bodies with the arduous terrain and micro navigation that will come when we move to Kyrgyzstan.
