On 27 November 2025, the Gurkha Staff and Personnel Support (GSPS) annual award results were announced. The awards are given as recognition of exceptional service and consistently, setting an example and pursuit of excellence by upholding the GSPS Ethos and the Army Leadership Code.
- GSPS SNCO of the Year 2025 – Sergeant Sangam Gurung
- GSPS Soldier of the Year (SOTY) 2025 – Corporal Suraj Gurung
- Private Riwaz Thapa – Colonel GSPS Coin of excellence for narrowly missing the Soldier of the Year (SOTY) 2025 and the only Private soldier to have been nominated for this year’s SOTY.
The awards will be presented during the GSPS Dinner Night 2025 in February 2026.
