The Brigade of Gurkhas annual Bhela and Nepal Cup Final will take place on Queen's Avenue, Aldershot on 4 July 2026.
We hope to see as many members of the Brigade, veterans, family members and friends of the Gurkhas attend as possible at what is the highlight of the Brigade of Gurkhas annual calendar of events.
The event opens at 1000hrs and will close at 1800hrs.
Lots of action across the event from volleyball, football, Military Band, Fairground rides, Nepalese Food.
The day will include the following activities:
- Nepal Cup Football final
- Kathmandu Football cup for veterans
- Brigade of Gurkhas Women’s Volleyball Competition
- Gurkha Recruit Intake 25 Khukuri and Taekwondo display
- The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas
- Regimental and Corps Association Stands
- Gurkha Museum stall and Gurkha Welfare Trust stands
- Britain Nepal Society Stand
- Local business stands – Clothing, Jewellery, Crafts, Financial, Employment
- Nepalese food and Restaurants
- Unit display stands, including for the first time The King’s Gurkha Artillery
- Bars
- Fairground attraction rides (big discounts to ride all day)
This event is the ideal time to catch up with old friends or just come along and meet the Gurkhas. With plenty of sporting action and entertainment for the family.
The event takes place on Queen’s Avenue, Aldershot, with free parking available.
You can also walk from the train station in Aldershot or Farnborough or use the local buses.
