Warrant Officer Class Two (Squadron Sergeant Major) Eka Bahadur Rai from the Queen’s Gurkha Engineers has been awarded the Fishmongers’ Gold Medal Award 2022.
He received the medal for his contribution to the NHS and the Gurkha Welfare Trust for raising thousands of pounds. The award ceremony took place on the 10th of March 2022 at the Fishmongers’ Company Hall, Central London.
Each year the Company awards the Fishmongers’ Medal to candidates from the service affiliations with the award to an individual for outstanding achievement, a single act of high significance, or remarkable individual endeavour.
