
On 16 August 2025, British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN), the Regimental Association Nepal (RAN), and the Gurkha Memorial Museum hosted a Charity Dinner Night to raise vital funds for the Gurkha Memorial Museum in Pokhara, Nepal. This historic institution stands as a powerful tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of generations of Gurkhas.
The evening aimed to increase public awareness and generate financial support for the museum’s continued operation and future expansion.

Guests included:
- Mr Chiri Babu Maharjan, Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
- Mr Hari Budha Magar, record-breaking mountaineer, Gurkha veteran, and GWT Ambassador.
- Gurkha veterans, local dignitaries, BGN officers, staff, and family members.
The event was expertly organised by Major Gyanbahadur Dhenga (Gurkha Major, BGN) and led by Staff Sergeant Mukesh Rai, whose dedication ensured a memorable and impactful evening.
