On 5 December 2025, the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas proudly supported The Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) at a special event in London: Carolling with the Band. Held at the magnificent St Peter’s, Eaton Square, the evening brought together supporters of the GWT for a festive Carol Service in aid of the charity.
Mr Al Howard (CEO GWT) welcomed all those attending and thanked them for their support. Reading were read by, Major General Gerald Strickland DSO MBE (Chair, The Gurkha Welfare Trust), Captain Shiva Kumar Rai (King’s Gurkha Orderly Officer) and James Howlett (Gurkha Welfare Trust Supporter).
The Band was conducted by Captain Sunil Gurung, (Assistant Director of Music).
