Gurkha Chef Excels on the International Arena

Private Aron Gurung, (Chef with the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment), has been awarded a One Star Commendation for his exemplary service at Operation ELGIN (Kosovo), where he supported The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles for his exceptional skills in catering. He then went on to present his craft at the prestigious Joint Culinary Training Exercise in Virginia, USA, he excelled securing both a Gold and a Silver Medal.
